We write this as there has been a large increase, mainly due to the popularity of our website, of folk finding the details for local companies on this website and phoning us instead of reading the information provided below.

Black Lane Ends is “the local” for Harwes Farm Cottage.  Either a short 15 minute walk over the hill, or a quick 5 minute drive if you prefer, it serves fantastic, locally sourced food.  A simple menu with all the favourites on, bolstered by regular weekly specials, it is well worth a visit.

Recently renovated, it’s popular with the locals and visitors alike, so you’re well worth phoning ahead to book a table.

With their selection of local ales and traditional log burning fires, it’s a cosy way to spend an evening, whatever the weather is doing outside.
