Kelbrook Lodge is a traditional shooting box set in its own grounds on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border. It is located 8 miles west of the market town Skipton, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
The Lodge itself was purpose built in 1908 for shooting entertainment days by Edward Carr, a wealthy local lawyer for his clients and guests. Now almost a century later it is still used for this Victorian tradition, now one of the most popular ways of entertaining business associates, friends and family.
Primarily a professional shooting school, open 6 days a week, with the objective of simulating game birds in exactly the correct environment.
It’s also within walking distance of Harwes Farm Cottage, meaning you can take a leisurely stroll to enjoy a day’s shooting.
